Turix is celebrating its first year of operating tours in the Western Caribbean of Guatemala, and while we have grown from offering just one tour on local transport, to over twenty five different tours over three unique travel styles, our motivations remain as strong as ever: Giving you the adventure of a lifetime, over and over again. Sharing everything we have come to know and love about all of the spectacular destinations we travel to with our guests.
Carefully crafting our trips so that they include the best that every small village, bustling city and diverse culture has to offer, from popular tourist haunts to hidden gems and the out-of-the-way attractions that are our local favorites.
Over this year we have been lucky to recruit tour leaders, road crew and office staff with the same passion for Guatemala and regional travel experience. Some are locals with that extra-special knowledge and rare insight that only comes from growing up in a place. Others simply fell in love with the culture and never wanted to leave.
